Airport Pickup

When you arrive at the airport, go to the SXM Rent a Car booth in the arrival hall and an agent will assist you to the Shuttle transfer area outside the arrival hall. Free shuttle service from the airport is available every day from 7:00 a.m until 10:00 p.m, or until the last flight. We are less than four minutes from the airport.

Minimum Age: 18 years

Additional Drivers

Additional drivers are permitted, but there is a daily fee of $5. (per additional driver)
Minimum Age for Additional Drivers: 18

Fuel Policy

Vehicles must be returned with a full tank of fuel.
There will be additional charges for fuel. The price fluctuates based on the state of the market. Make a request at the counter.

Deposits in cash are not accepted.

Insurance and Coverage

Insurance Liability insurance shields you from lawsuits alleging that the rental car you borrowed was used in an accident that injured someone else or damaged their property or personnel. The rented car is not covered by this policy. Our vehicles are covered by insurance policies that provide coverage up to the minimums prescribed by the state’s financial responsibility laws that apply to the loss. Liability insurance costs $7 per day. Accidental Damage Waiver (CDW): Provides coverage for damage to the rented car if it is involved in an accident or is stolen. There is an additional CDW fee of $20 per day for Full-size and larger vehicles.
